Manifesting and Law of Attraction with Feng Shui

Five easy steps to get your home on board with your intentions

Implementing traditional feng shui in a home is a high-speed route to manifesting success. Simply getting the energy right will neutralise the energetic blocks and obstacles which are physically and subconsciously created when a home is built, and create a strong foundation for manifesting the life you deserve. The results can be spectacular!

Suzanne Roynon's five top tips for using the home to support manifesting:

1. The first recommendation is one you’ve heard a thousand times before, but so many people ignore and effectively short-change their law of attraction results. Clear the clutter! Clutter is an energetic barrier to getting what you want, because for manifesting to work effectively, you do need to make room for something new. A cluttered home, by its very nature, is preventing you from reaching goals, achieving dreams and living the life you desire.

2. Activate the feng shui power centres. If it’s abundance you are looking for, the Southeast is the area of your home to focus on. For fabulous travel, holidays and bringing ‘the right’ people into your life, look at the Northwest. Romance, lasting love, and, importantly, boosting self-esteem are located in the southwest. Fine tune your health and wellbeing in the centre. Every part of the home relates to one of the nine crucial areas of life, so for your manifesting to become more efficient, take the time to get the feng shui energy working with you.

3. Deal with maintenance issues and broken items. Manifesting is about inviting the universe to present your wishes and desires on a plate, but if you are ignoring important repair requirements within the home, you’re sending out a message that you don’t value your current situation. Why should the universe give you more if you don’t recognise what you have now?

4. Get gratitude. This is the next logical step from loving and appreciating your home. Living in a feng shui home does make this a whole lot easier, because when the energy of your home is in flow, everything else falls neatly into place. However, if you aren’t quite ready to take the plunge and have an informal chat with a feng shui expert, you can still take action by starting a regular gratitude practice and writing down ten things you are grateful for each day. Handwriting into a book does seem to be so much more powerful than storing on a phone! These can be things from the past, the present and those wonderful aspects you would like to manifest into your life. A gratitude practice is the perfect way to shift your thinking from living in ‘lack’ and feeling you are missing out, to living in a state of ‘abundance’ which effectively gives universal permission to attract more of what you aspire to.

5. If love is high on your manifesting list, combine feng shui with the ‘Manifesto for Love’, a Law of Attraction process to welcome the energy of a partner genuinely worthy of your time and heart. The process encourages assessing possessions and artwork around the home to see whether they are supportive of your intentions or inadvertently amplifying your single or ‘unlucky in love’ status. Identify solo objects – lamps, candles, images of solo women etc. and activate feng shui ‘pair’ energy to match them up or let them go. Likewise, anything which connects to an ex will trap their energy in your life and push away the vibe of someone new. This is especially relevant with beds and anything which instantly makes you think of the former partner. It’s astonishing how many lonely items we find in the homes of people who want to wave goodbye to their solitary lifestyle and don’t understand why love is so elusive.

When you tune into your home and get the positive energy on your side, the door opens to a universal flow of happy coincidences, lucky breaks and good fortune. It’s delicious to experience and a lifestyle to cherish.
