I'm delighted to share it with you here:

From the desk of Gary Withers

Every woman will experience the menopause in some form, with many having to face challenging physical and mental changes along the way. It’s a natural life event that requires ongoing support from the people close to them and there are also some helpful tools that could be used to make life a little easier.

With temperature changes and hot flushes being one of the most common symptoms of the menopause, many women in their 50s are turning to air conditioning systems to help keep them cooler at home. Here we look at some of the ways that air conditioning can be used to ease the symptoms of the menopause.

More temperature controls

The more control you have over the climate in your home, the easier it can be to cope with the hot flushes and night sweats caused by the menopause. It can prove particularly important during the night, creating a cooler bedroom for a better night’s sleep. Modern air conditioning units can easily be controlled by handheld, infra-red controls, with multiple settings available to help you find the perfect temperature in the room.

Better air quality

Some air conditioning unit can also help to improve the air quality around the home, reducing the transmission of viruses, pollen and other pollutants. Most standard systems also have a dust filter to further improve the air quality, so you can have an all-round better experience in the comfort of your own home.

Easy adaption

Older air conditioning models didn’t have the best reputation when it came to their design, often looking too bulky and standing out like a sore thumb. That image has changed dramatically in recent years, with modern designs being far sleeker and adaptable to almost any interior space. In some cases, the most you will see is a discreet grille, with internal units sometimes concealed inside a wardrobe or in the eaves of a wall. More standard units can be supplied in a huge variety of colours to match the décor of your home

Quiet comfort

Unless the AC unit is turned on at the highest speed (which is a setting rarely needed in a domestic home) then you won’t have to worry about the system making too much noise at night. Modern units are near-silent in operation, so you can relax and enjoy the cooler temperature in the room without being disturbed.

Gary Withers runs AAC - North London & Hertfordshire’s premier air conditioning installers

Find out more about AAC at https://aacairconditioning.co.uk/

Big thanks to Gary for his excellent advice.

She had given up on relationships and her friends were flaky. Despite a stream of clients, money seemed to disappear as quickly as she earned it and to add insult to injury Catherine’s landlord put her rental home up for sale and gave her notice to move out.

Catherine was angry, tearful and constantly anxious. After a decade ‘just coping’ it felt as though her life was working against her and she was ready to give up.

By chance she read about Interiors Therapy in a national newspaper.

“Everything started to make sense” said Catherine “I realised I had been dragging my past around with me for thirty years. All the heartache, failures, pressure and pain surrounded me on a daily basis right there in my home.”

Catherine called in Interiors Therapy expert Suzanne Roynon. It was time to stop crying and start afresh.

“In the run up to the move Suzanne helped me review my possessions and identify everything which wasn’t supporting me. I was really nervous at first and dug my heels in about a lot of memories and stuff I didn’t use but was too afraid to part with. Suzanne patiently helped me focus on what I was ready to deal with and said I’d know when I was ready to look at the rest.

Over the next few months although things improved financially, I still felt unsettled. I had decided it was time to start dating but the guys I met were a total waste of space.

I remembered Suzanne’s parting advice about the stuff I had chosen to keep, which included old love letters and photos, and how it would potentially push away new love. I asked her to work with me again and over a few sessions I threw myself into the process. Once all the unhappy reminders of my past had gone, I felt ready to implement Feng Shui and life took a dramatic up-turn.

Now I am in demand workwise and romantically. The friends who were taking me for granted just evaporated and I now have a great group of pals who love and respect me. I get to go on amazing holidays and recently moved into my perfect Feng Shui home.

I look back and don’t recognise the sad and unfulfilled person I was before Interiors Therapy.

Above everything, working with Suzanne Roynon bought me Happiness and with that, every other part of my life transformed.”

Catherine is now sharing her life with someone special and looking forward to a brighter future than she had ever imagined.

If you’d like to improve the Happiness levels in your life, it starts with a Free mini consultation: https://calendly.com/interiorstherapy/inspiration

*Name changed to respect her partner
